What is Recrafted?

Recrafted is a Minecraft: Java Edition resource pack that overhauls the game's textures, sounds, and visuals all towards one vision. The result is a product that interconnects each feature, keeps a consistent art direction, and pushes the boundaries of what was once thought possible.

It began in 2021 as an early pack under another name. In 2024 it was torn down and rebuilt from the ground up, same obsession, far greater ambition, and has quietly grown into one of the most complete overhauls the community has seen.

Common questions

The full release of Recrafted is expected in 2027. After launch, the pack will continue to evolve with new biomes, features, and post-release updates.
Yes, a Bedrock port is planned. The exact timing and details aren't locked in yet, but serious development would most likely begin after Recrafted 1.0 ships, though it could start sooner. How it happens is also still open: it may be a self-port, or a collaboration with an established studio. Either way, Bedrock is firmly on the roadmap.
Paid resource packs have existed for many years. The Minecraft EULA specifically addresses mods and does not include resource packs, data packs, skins, or worlds under its paid-content restrictions. The EULA itself states: "We have the final say on what constitutes a Mod and what doesn't," meaning Mojang determines how different types of content are classified.
Being a resource pack lets Recrafted be more cohesive and transformational than a mod would be. It can add groundbreaking features while reworking the vanilla game just as much, and it stays modular across every world and server, toggleable whenever you like. The format's limits also push creative solutions that keep everything tied to one focused art direction.

Yes. Anything you download while subscribed is yours to keep for good. Staying subscribed simply keeps your access to new downloads and updates going.
For most people it's Patreon. It has the cleaner, more familiar interface, and it's where most of the community is. Boosty is there for regions where Patreon isn't available or can't handle digital payments reliably. It's the same pack at the same price either way, so pick whichever works best for where you are.
